An Update from Msgr. Kennedy on the Resumption of Public Masses

The joy on the faces of our parishioners (even behind their masks) was quite evident last weekend as we resumed public Mass in St. Katherine of Siena Church.  Over 5 Masses we welcomed 483 people.  The highest attendance was 107 people at the 10:00 a.m. Mass.  Hopefully this weekend our numbers will grow as people become more and more comfortable with gathering.  As numbers warrant it we will be having Mass at the same time (5 p.m., 10 a.m. and 12 Noon) in Fitzgerald Hall.

Please consider joining your fellow parishioners as we move forward in HOPE.

Alleluia! A Letter from Saint Katherine Of Siena Parish

2020-06-02 14.43.04

Alleluia!  We will be returning to public Mass beginning with the 8 a.m. Saturday morning Mass this Saturday, June 6th.  We will also then follow the regular Mass schedule of 5 p.m., 6:30 a.m., 8 a.m., 10 a.m. and 12 Noon.  If numbers necessitate it, we will have Mass in Church and in Fitzgerald Hall simultaneously at 5 p.m., 10 a.m. and 12 Noon.

All the regulations from the CDC and government will be in force.

    * Masks must be worn upon entering the Church, during the service, and leaving Church.

    * Social distancing will be observed.

    * We are permitted to utilize 50% of our Church's seating capacity.

Further instruction and direction will be offered when we gather for Mass.

It has been 12 weeks since we have been able to gather to celebrate the Eucharist.  I know that you are as excited as the other priests and I are to join together in prayer.  In these beginning days and over the next few weeks let us make this quote our guiding principle: "Common courtesy in uncommon times."

God bless you, and let us pray for one another.
